Tameer's Silver Tower to be ready by 2010

The exclusive 31-storey Silver Tower by Tameer, located at Business Bay is making good progress and has crossed 22 storeys, and the superstructure is almost ready, it has been announced.
The company officials have confirmed the delivery of the project next year.
The development is making good progress and the construction has crossed 60 percent mark sometime ago. According to sources in Tameer, the slab for 26th storey has been done, and the core wall has to reach 28th floor.
Standing at a height of 148 meters, the tower, with its silver aluminum façade and ultra-smart glass architecture, is all set to be one of the leading landmarks in Dubai.
On completion, the Silver Tower will comprise 260 offices of various sizes, which includes all of Dubai's leading landmarks. On completion, the building will offer office spaces, health clubs, 748 private parking spaces, retail and commercial outlets, cafeteria, and more, spread across a total area of 700,000 square feet.
Ideally located at Business Bay, Silver Tower offers residents easy access to Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai Airport, Burj Dubai Downtown, Dubai Internet City, Jebel Ali Free Zone and Dubai Media City.

Tameer set to deliver UAQ project

Tameer, speaking about its project Al Salam City in Umm al Quwain (UAQ), said that it could be worked out in the future, although it is currently on hold.
Several investors in the project were refunded 100 percent of their money.
The President of Tameer, Federico Tauber, confirmed that so far more than seventy percent of investors have been refunded, and the refunding process to all investors will be complete by end of September.
Tauber said that the project would surely be considered in future. There is a significant investment, but it is not the company's priority now. For now, Al Salam City aims to satisfy its customers and refund them, as the company now aims to deliver the projects in hand at present.
The Al Salam City project was being developed by Tatweer, together with Umm al Quwain government. With a long overdue shift in management, the company now aims to handover its remaining eight projects, with a total value of Dh.20bn, under the guidance of Tauber.
Tauber says that it is a major milestone in Tameer's history, as it is the first major project to be delivered. Tameer announced the delivery of its Dh.500mn Palace Towers in Dubai Silicon Oasis, a 25-storey commercial tower, with 150 offices and another 22 storey residential tower with 424 apartments.
The company's project in Al Majid City and Jordan will be handed over next month, while the tower in Business Bay will be ready by December.

Tameer Towers makes scheduled progress for hand-over by 2011

Tameer Towers, the iconic project by leading property developer Tameer, also the focal point of The Shams District of Reem Island in Abu Dhabi, is progressing as scheduled and is due for hand-over by 2011.
The enabling works have been successfully completed, and the construction agreement has been signed between Al Rajhi Projects and Construction together with Al-Habtoor Engineering Enterprises.
The 9mn square feet complex includes a signature commercial tower, and four luxury residential towers. The excavation, shoring and piling works are in progress. The enabling works for entire development was completed in December 2008, which marks a significant milestone for timely delivery of the project. Thereafter, pile capping, trimming, concrete blinding, and water proofing works have been undertaken, together with installation of three tower cranes.
The sub-structure works has commenced, and the superstructure works will begin by the end of this year.

Work initiated at Tameer's Platinum Towers

Tameer, the leading property developer, has commenced its works on the mixed-use twin tower development located at Dubai’s Business Bay, namely, The Platinum Towers.
The CEO of Tameer, Ghassan Sheiknini, expressed his happiness over the commencement of works, and said that this emphasizes the commitment by the company to meet the expectations of investors and customers.
The Development Director of Platinum Towers, John Zwets, said that the site mobilization, which began in early February, has been continuing for the past couple of weeks.
In the next few weeks, the secant-wall piles will be installed to retain the parking basement excavation, he revealed.

Tameer Holding, a pioneer property developer, has announced that its 107-storey luxury residential tower, the Princess Tower, located in Dubai Marina, has successfully completed 30 storeys, and is progressing as scheduled.
The Princess Tower (also known as Al Ameera Tower) is one of the many freehold towers in Dubai Marina, opposite to Jumeirah Lake Towers, adjacent to American University of Dubai. It is positioned on the same side of marina, as that of Dubai Marina Towers, in close proximity to the Torch Tower. On completion, the Princess Tower is hoped to be one of the tallest all-residential buildings in the world, standing high at 414 meters.
The Princess Tower, covering 37,410 square feet of space, rising more than 400 meters in height, would be the world's tallest residential building, with a total of 100 storeys. It includes 750 luxury residential apartments, including double, triple and four bedrooms apart from duplex villas and penthouses.
Among the other amenities at the Princess Tower are the gymnasium, swimming pools, a sauna club, child day-care, private car parking area and prayers area, for each resident apart from luxurious reception area.
The Princess Tower will be the most expensive apartments in the world, costing about US$85,000,000.00. The ground floor of the building (the entrance hall), will be glided with white gold, one of the most rare and expensive type in the world. This will be supplemented with opals, diamonds, sapphires, rubies and crystals.
The Managing Director of Tameer Dubai, Abdul Hamid Moukayed, said "Despite the difficulties experienced by real estate and construction sectors, such as the rising costs of material and labour, apart from increasing competition for contractors, construction on the Princess Tower is progressing as scheduled.
